CASA OAXACA Hurricane LED Holder

Our Casa Oaxaca hurricane was part of the remodel of the famous restaurant back in 2007...One of the many pieces developed to be congruent with the hand of Chef Alejandro Ruiz, with Oaxacan materials, but a contemporary twist.

Our Cantera pieces are handmade using a few power tools to shape and then hand finished with hammer and chisels. They are made with "Piedra de Metate" a stone from the Tlacolula valley that has been used for metates (grinding stones) for hundreds of years. Beautiful, soft and in 3 shades of gray, each piece is completely unique. The onyx shade, from the state of Puebla, is the perfecto complement: translucency and the hardness of stone.
