FROM THE KITCHEN AT HACIENDA GUADALUPE
In 2021, I spent nine months without leaving Hacienda Guadalupe in Oaxaca. I cooked constantly, made cocktails, and slowly rearranged life around the simple things that make a house feel lived in. To stay close to our artisan friends and keep making, I began designing some of the objects I wanted around me: things that felt honest, useful, and quietly beautiful.
This small collection of green clay kitchenware came out of that time: dutch ovens, bowls, ramekins, and serving pieces designed to be used often and to quietly become part of daily life. Handmade and lined by hand, warm in color and deeply satisfying to cook with, they became part of life at La Guadalupe—bread, slow fish, long lunches, dinners that stretched longer than expected.
I have always believed that the things we live with quietly shape us. The best objects slowly become part of a life, carrying memory, history, and use along the way. These certainly became part of mine.
I hope they become part of yours.
