Made in Taxco
Taxco, a quaint Mexican town situated southwest of Mexico City, has been renowned for its exquisite jewelry for ages. Known as the "place of the ballgame" in the ancient Aztec language, this town was once ruled by Aztec leaders until the Spanish conquest in the 1530s, which led to the discovery of its abundant silver reserves. Despite its initial obscurity, Taxco's fame rose steadily from 1929 when American William Spratling arrived, making it a global symbol of quality silver.
