Clay Drinkware
Clay drinkware keeps water cool because its porous structure allows moisture to seep through and evaporate, drawing heat away from the water inside. It can also slightly increase the water’s alkalinity. Minerals like calcium and magnesium in the clay dissolve into the water, neutralizing acidity and making it more alkaline, which is often considered beneficial for health. The clay itself will become very fragrant when water is added and will lend a delicate earthen flavor to the water. Additionally, many families treasure these jugs as heirlooms, passing them down through generations as valued cultural artifacts.

Condition

Our vintage pieces show the passage of time as we leave them in the original condition in which they were found. As a consequence, signs of wear and patina should be expected. Please refer to images for condition details.
