From its beginnings, Oax-i-fornia has collaborated widely alongside chefs, designers, and hoteliers to create unique objects for extraordinary places in Mexico and beyond.

Made by master artisans and refined in hospitality and professional kitchens, a carefully edited selection of objects for the home is now available as CASA at La Embajada.

DINNERWare

How a single plate created with chef Elena Reygadas for Rosetta in Mexico City inspired our entire dinnerware collection at La Embajada.

TABLETOP

A friendship with chef Alejandro Ruiz at Casa Oaxaca became an exploration of the subtleties, rituals, and possibilities of the Mexican table.

Oax-i-fornia Susurros Glass Molcajete, clear glass kitchenware for traditional grinding and serving.

Glassware

A signature of La Embajada, the collection began with a family of glassware developed for the restaurants at Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Los Cabos.

BAR

How copper, from the alambiques that distill mezcal, and black clay became the starting point for our way of thinking about the bar.

Copper mixing glass with a jigger inside, designed for home decor and cocktail preparation by Oax-i-fornia.

Kitchen

For one week, Ex-Hacienda Guadalupe became the test kitchen for the book Tu Casa Mi Casa. Daniela Soto-Innes cooked, adjusted, plated, and photographed recipes using our pots and tableware, putting them through the same trial by use that shapes the collection.

HOME DECOR

A visit from Liz Lambert to Oaxaca, while developing Hotel San Cristóbal in Baja, sparked an ongoing search for unusual, soulful objects across Mexico.

Gene Byron Brass Mirror used as home decor, featuring a sleek brass frame and reflective glass surface.

GARDEN

A stroll through Guadalajara and a group of planters, architectural yet soulful, became the starting point for our Garden collection.
