Cadena Pint Glass

Handblown in Jalisco, this tall glass is finished with a handmade cadena detail, a raised band of glass applied around the body in a continuous chain-like pattern.

The decoration gives the glass a subtle texture and a distinctly handmade character, while the clear form remains simple enough for everyday use. Small bubbles and variations in shape are part of the blowing process and make each piece unique.

Our glass pieces are versatile and sturdy. Hand made in Jalisco and Hidalgo, they are made with recycled glass from schools, hence its lovely green tone (think Mexican Coke!) and are shaped without molds or any shaping tools, other than years of practice and an expert eye. No two glasses are alike. Each a unique piece of artistry with subtle differences in form, weight and color, a direct result of the process.
