Casamidy Camp Bed *Special Order

This bed has a special meaning to me. My friend Laura Kirar connected me with Jorge Almada, the owner of Casamidy in San Miguel. We collaborated on selecting a few pieces from his line for a significant project there, including this bed. It features custom detailing for La Embajada and pays tribute to campaign army beds found globally. With its sturdy and straightforward wrought iron frame, along with the addition of leather and rough stitching, it offers a timeless contrast.

Customizing
The Casamidy Camp Bed features a sculpted iron or "chorreado" design, as well as a clean wrought iron frame option. Personalize the head and foot boards with a variety of materials including leather, hide, canvas, and vegan leather. (See images for examples)

Designer
Casamidy was founded in 1998 by Jorge Almada and Anne-Marie Midy, with a focus on merging modern design and traditional crafting techniques. Each piece is meticulously made by skilled artisans in San Miguel de Allende Guanajuato, ensuring the highest level of quality and craftsmanship.
