Ironwood Swordfish Sculpture

A vintage swordfish carved from ironwood, mounted on a base with an extended fin and dynamic profile. The density and dark tone of the palo fierro give the piece a striking material presence — a compelling example of Mexican folk sculpture at its most expressive.
