Our Molino Candle holder is an ode to the grinding stones used in corn grinders throughout the state of Oaxaca and other parts of Mexico. Hand carved with Metate stone, it is a true reflection, just in miniature.

Our Cantera pieces are handmade using a few power tools to shape and then hand finished with hammer and chisels. They are made with "Piedra de Metate" a stone from the Tlacolula valley that has been used for metates (grinding stones) for hundreds of years. Beautiful, soft and in 3 shades of gray, each piece is completely unique.
