Craft:

These pieces are hand-carved in Paracho, Michoacan, a town celebrated throughout Mexico as the center of its finest guitar and stringed instrument manufacture. The wood used is cueramo, a precious regional hardwood prized for its density, grain, and tonal qualities. The pieces in this collection are carved from offcuts, material too small for instrument bodies but too fine to waste, transformed by hand into utilitarian objects of exceptional material quality.

Made in Michoacan:

Paracho sits in the Purepecha highlands of Michoacan and has been Mexico's guitar-making capital for generations. The town's craftsmen work almost exclusively in cueramo and other precious hardwoods, shaping instruments entirely by hand using traditional tools. The carved utilitarian pieces from Paracho carry the same material quality and handwork precision as the instruments themselves.

Origin:

Paracho, Michoacan, Mexico
