Table Runner Mustard

Sale price$195.00

Part of the Jacinta collection, this handwoven table runner is woven on traditional pedal looms in Morelia, Michoacán. A warm, saturated mustard tone runs the full length of the piece, its clean color and even weave reflecting the practiced hand of the maker. Simple in form and strong in presence, it works equally well on a long dining table or folded as a textile accent.

About Jacinta
Jacinta collaborates with artisans across the state to create handcrafted objects rooted in Mexico’s rich artisan traditions. By bringing together traditional techniques and contemporary design, the collection seeks to honor craftsmanship, support artisan communities, and preserve the cultural knowledge embodied in each piece.

About the Pedal Loom Tradition of Morelia
The pedal loom was introduced to Mexico during the 16th century and became central to textile production throughout Michoacán. In Morelia and the surrounding region, family workshops have long produced handwoven cotton and wool textiles for the home — table linens, runners, and household cloths distinguished by their durability, color, and craft. The tradition continues today, carried forward by weavers who learned the technique from the generation before them.

About Handmade Pieces
Crafted by hand using techniques passed down through generations of master artisans. Variations in color, texture, and finish are inherent to the process — each piece is, by nature, one of a kind.
