Emaús
In 1952, Belgium born Gregorio Lemercier founded the Monastery of Santa María de la Resurrección in Ahuacatitlán, Morelos. After a few years, one of the Benedictine Monks named Gabriel Chavez de la Mora decided to start this design group workshop as an activity for the monastery. Emaús quickly grew to success and even designed participation trophies for the 1968 Summer Olympics, which were held in Mexico.
